I will give a big thumbs up on Soekris single board computers. I have some
4511s (486 class, 64 meg) that have been around since prior to 9/11 and
they just keep plugging away in whatever role I give them.

The top of the line Soekris 6501s are Atom boxes, 600mhz to 1.6ghz with
512m to 2048m of ram. These are single drive only but they're the size of
an iPad and fanless. If you can work in the half gig of ram a box with 16
gig disk is $369.
