One thing I would suggest looking at is using openDNS.  Bypass COX/Qwest DNS
altogether
Register with openDNS (free), They have a really great adult filter to
include blocking hate sites
etc, very granular.  Still not 100% perfect (disclaimer) but far better than
using COX and Qwest
straight up
