[olug] Help for a newbie systems administrator

This may seem to be a smart-ass remark, it it isnt... Google <----
Google has helped me recover from kernel panics, configure systems with
security in mind while still making the network services available, and much
much more.
Also, there are some very knowledgeable people here on this list that can
conjure some crazy one liner commands.

What information are you seeking for your administrative tasks?
