[olug] Compile Problem on Athlon/KT266

After swapping out the memory on my machine, I tried to do some kernel
compiles - with no luck.

When I try to compile, it works for a litle while, then bombs.
One of the messages I got was "Virtual memory exhausted!" - and that was
during the dep stage - the swap file wasn't even touched.

I changed some settings in the BIOS to see if that would have any effect -

What puzzles me is that all the precompiled binaries work great, no
problems. No seg faults.

I'm not sure what my next step will be... with Installfest on Saturday,
maye I'll wait until then for the next steps in problem determination.
