For those of you whom were hoping for a good mix of interrogative questions
focusing on the topic, unfortunately I will not be able to make it due to
prior arrangements. However I would like to extend a helping hand by
offering free webhosting and/or mailing list hosting to the GOMTUG group, I
have taken the opportunity to register the domain www.gomtug.org and
currently have a default web page in its place. I want to make my intentions
clear in this email, which is not at all to degrade or deface the Microsoft
way of doing things, rather pose myself to be open to good competition and
information exchange between Superior Operating Systems and their user
groups in the Omaha Area. They BOTH have their place, they CAN co-exist,
they CAN be made to intermingle well together. There are benefits/pitfalls
to running both OS's. I also would like to state that you will never hear
the following phrases from me: "xxx OS" is the best, yet you will hear "xxx
OS" performs better in {APP_SPECIFIC} type of environment/climate, "xxx OS"
is better suited to handle {APP_SPECIFIC} issues, and or "xxx OS" can do
{insert feature here} "yyy OS" cannot.
