[olug] apt-get question

Actually, Debian makes doing your own kernel deb easy with the make-kpkg
script. I think its in the kerneltools package.

Anyhow, you configure your kernel (make menuconfig or make xconfig),
then run the make-kpkg. It will compile the kernel and modules and roll
them into a custom deb for you. My only problem is that this way doesnt
take advantage of my dual processors through the "make -j" procedure, so
the compilation takes longer than I feel is necessary.

Good luck,

Jason
