Well, you could download the latest ext3 patch and use the 'patch' utility
to patch your kernel source tree.  However, I believe if you are using the
2.4.7-10 kernel that came with Red Hat 7.2 then the support for both NAT and
ext3 should be fully available.  I know I've done both with a default Red
Hat 7.2 install without needing to recompile anything.

Here's a fun Red Hat fact.  In /usr/src/linux-2.4/configs (or
/usr/src/linux/configs for older Red Hat's) you can find the kernel build
config files that redhat uses to build their kernels.  If you look through
the file that matches your kernel version you can see exactly what was
compiled in and what wasn't.
