Depending on exactly what functionality you need from the router, there
may be some reasonable alternatives available. I've always been a fan of
MicroTik for Linux-based hardware routers, myself. It's amazing what can
be done with a Raspberry Pi or SFF computer, too, with a standard Linux
installation (or a specialized one like VyOS). That does change the level
of expertise needed to support it, though.

It's very easy to miss, but when you go to Ubiquiti's store, there's a
little drop-down at the upper left that lets you switch from UniFi to UISP,
and the router products are listed there:
