You may be able to talk an HP sales guy into letting you have one for 
evaluation.  I know Dell is offering eval stuff here all the time.
I stick with SuperMicro and Tyan servers though.
As an alternative, you may want to take a look at Tyan's Opteron servers. 
I've only heard good things about them.
I expect to order a couple next month for testing.  They'll either save 
you a lot of money or allow you to get more systems on your budget.

[olug] Opteron vs. Xeon
We are looking to replace our Dell Xeon powered
servers with HP Opteron's. Since Dell does not make
Opteron based machines (and probably never will), we
are looking to HP.
Has anybody on the list done a comparison of Linux and
WebLogic Server running on these two platforms?
Budgets are due on the 17th, so any info this week
would be great.
