Thanks for all the advice.  When I'm finally ready and (if) I find that I
need more 'oomph' I'll look at buying a processor off eBay/Amazon (or
someone here).

Now if I could just figure out a way to make the "UEFI Initialization" take
less than 3 eons to complete during each reboot. :)
