It’s never too early to begin developing the right skills for career
success! In this four day academy, students will work on a technology-based
business project while developing professional skills including
interviewing, resume writing, communication, networking and making a good
impression.
Participants in this academy should come prepared with computer skills
including Word, PowerPoint and basic web design. Interaction with area
professionals from metro-area companies will be included in this
experience, so please dress in “business casual” attire (khakis, polos,
dress capris, modest length skirts and dresses, etc).

July 29-Aug 1, 2013 – Game On!

Anyone can play a computer game, but why not take it a step further? During
this session students will learn and apply the Python programming language
to solve puzzles and gaming challenges. The Python language was designed to
be easy to read by using simplified program statements and includes object
oriented features. Students taking this session should come prepared with a
basic familiarity through an introductory course in computer programming.
Lunches are included!
