[olug] VPN Hardware

Put a router at the home site with VPN passthrough capability, and get the IP's of the remote sites and plug them into the router to allow the passthrough. Linksys will even do that. Then set up your vpn client on the remote servers. Windows has a wizard, linux is easy too. Make sure you match the same tunnel type for your clients and on the router.

Traversing the firewall(s), assuming both sites have one, can be IP or mac address specific, but is also not hard to do.

Subject: [olug] VPN Hardware

Got an emergency call for support today. I have 3 sites. 1 is the home site, 2 remote sites. I need to VPN all traffic from the remote sites into the home site. What hardware can I purchase and put in place in the next 48 hours to make this happen? It needs to be local purchase though since this is time sensitive.

Thanx to any and all help!!
