   I used DocMgr/tesseract a few years ago. Simple and includes ocr search
   capabilities.

We have tried a wiki and that is great for taking notes but not so well for ste
p by step instructions and things of that nature.  I guess I can look closer at
 Google Docs.  I would like to keep it in house (control issues) if possible bu
t that could be an option.
