[olug] Nagios still the coolness?

I believe it still is,  we use it extensively monitoring over 200+ servers
and about 9000 services.  I have tested out quite a few of the others and I
still can't find one that does everything that Nagios can, except maybe for
the ones that have the nagios engine at their core.

Installing something from scratch today. Is what's now called "Nagios Core
3.2.3" the way to go?
