Good idea, but at $22 for the player (purchased as a refurb unit 12
months ago), I suspect the replacement battery might be a bit steep.
And in this case, the battery looks like a small sealed foil packet
with a very small circuit board glued to the side.

Besides, it works really well as a desk player, and I have my wifes
player to use when I'm mowing.
