You realize ESXi is freeware?

That's why I said to get the motherboard I said to get :)

BTW nVidia chipsets are real bad about accepting non-graphic PCIe cards
in 16x PCIe slots.

One of the 3 RAID cards I listed won't work in that motherboard, while
all 3 will work in real UP server motherboards.
