[olug] MythTV - Cox Communications

I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences if/when you get it
working.  I have a Motorola DCH-3416 DVR with firewire and my Mythbuntu
system can't seem to talk with it.  (As a test, I tried hooking my Sony
HandyCam with fire-wire to this port but it didn't get anything either...)
A Cox technician came out last spring after I called Cox and he brought a
new DVR box but it had the same results.  I asked if he could leave a
non-DVR version for me to test for a few days, but he wouldn't.  Maybe I'll
rent a second non-DVR for a few months and see if I can make it talk.

Keep us informed - it would be great to get a few others here in Omaha who
are hitting Cox up to fix their FireWire ports.
