[olug] display configuration assistance LCD/nvidia proprietary driver

Recently replaced CRT w/ LCD. Since the change was made, I've noticed
that radio buttons & check boxes have become nearly indistinguishable.

I think, but can't say w/ 100% certainty, that the color is either light
blue or possibly a light green, maybe w/ some transparency??

It's apparent in all web, some KDE control center adjustments, NOT in
system-config-* as far as I can tell.

I've tried multiple themes....
I've adjusted LCD color temp, warm, cool, each individual color....
I've contrast & brightness....
Adjustment of GAMMA seems helpful, but then trashes all the rest of the
display....

I would REALLY like to be able to distinguish, with-OUT getting new
glasses, which I don't think will help?

Anyone else experienced anything similar? I've played w/ knobs
repeatedly for a sizable chunk of un-productive time. Hoping for
pointers or quick-fix w/o wasting time of others.

INFO:
CentOS EL5
eVGA GeForce 6200 (AGP, 256M) (analog feed)
nvidia-graphics 185.18.14
KDE 3.5.4
V7 21" LCD

TIA
