[olug] Front Side USB port add-on for desktop

I've purchased a card-reader/usb port hardware thingy that I have tried to
install on my desktop. When I do so, on boot the boot drive ends up being
drive "H" or "I" or something and, apparently, since boot is expected from
drive "C", nothing boots (I know, these are Windows drive terms, but it's
been a few weeks since I tried setting this up and I don't remember the Linux
drive names).

I'd prefer to keep the boot drive with its traditional nomenclature (drive "C"
or whatever) but I'm not sure what file to modify to accomplish that - or if
there is some other way to do it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

	Jack
