And some products may still exist on the market without the extra zero.
And wear leveling can only do so much.  Most importantly it would be a
very bad to do high I/O tasks on the drive like compiling and defraging.
The temporary files will create a lot of unnecessary writes.

Just make you by the best or the performance may be less than what
you are looking for.  But are you willing to pay up to $800 for the best
SSD near 80GB and $400 near 40 GB.
