Are you wanting to remote control an unattended computer, or help a 
family member/friend while they are still at their computer?  If the 
latter, look at CrossLoop, its a cool, simple (and free) way to remotely 
control a computer, but the person on the other end must be there to 
authorize it.  Its intended for remote tech support kind of stuff.
