On Windows, there is a 2GB limit on contiguous memory allocation. I can't start my Jrun J2EE server and allocate it more than 1.5GB or so. Is there such a limitation on Linux? (32 bit CentOS) We're considering switching one of our severs if we can easily allocate 3GB or so, without resorting to any 64-bit hassles. -Ryan
