Ok, I am in a Java class and the instructor will not help me finish this project that is now late...real late.
I have to put together this formula: P = (Pv*R) / [1 - (1 + R)^(-n)] and don't know how to do the ^ in Java.   I have the rest of the program working GREAT but that ^ is screwing me up.  I have this working in a spreadsheet so I know the formula is right...

I don't know a Java person so I am turning to the only place that I know for a person who might.

ANY help is appreciated!!
