[olug] Virtualization Question

I'm running a dual-boot system.  Win XP Home on one
drive and Ubuntu Linux 7.10 Gutsy on another drive.

Can I use the restore disks from the XP side in
VirtualBox or some other virtual OS instead of having
to re-boot?  If this would work I'd re-format the
Windows drive...I only use Windows when necessary
(quicktime live streams and other video and audio
conversion software)...and sites that only allow
Windows/IE.
