Remeber that someone could put together the strips & then extract the data
from the discs. The only foolproof is to strip the layer from the disc.

You could send the Cds to a recycler - which is what I do with mine.

After scratching the hell out of it, or putting them in the microwave,
send them to one of these places. Then you know the data is totally gone.
