[olug] Cox Issues Was: Cox sucks

I've taken a tour, as well. It's rather low-profile, at least from the
outside. On the inside, they've got a few hundred hot-seats, a complete
check printing facility and mainframe recovery services, in addition to
the colocation/cage portion of their operation. If OLUG is really
looking to get a community datacenter underway, a cage at CoSentry would
do fine. They offer cages starting at 8x8 and can incorporate a HID
access system into the cage. Aside from gathering enough support to get
it going, I think cost is the prohibitive factor.

I've still got a folder full of CoSentry propoganda from my tour, if
somebody wants additional details.

It is kinda expensive but not as bad as I would have thought and the people there are reasonable, not money grubbers like SOME companies around here. They have a NOC that is staffed 24/7 that monitor all traffic in and out as well as your servers if that is part of your plan.
