[olug] 'chmod +x' no longer means 'chmod ugo+x' ?

Does "chmod a+x" work like that?  I've alternated between the "+x" and
"a+x" and just accepted that it was one of those differenses between
BSD<>Solaris<>Linux<>AIX<>SCO{original}<>etc...
