When I plug in my USB-key (granded it is different from the CDRom or HDD),
my /etc/fstab file doesn't get updated.  If you comment out all four of
those lines (9, 10, 16, and 17), reboot, and plug in the devices.  Does it
pop up an icon on your desktop?
