You can do that also...Joe, you could put the new HD that you are going to use in the old machine into the new machine and use Disk Utility to partition it with the Mac OS.

Maybe I recalling things incorrectly, but doesn't Mac need the harddrive
'blessed' by a Mac OS before it'll use it?
