If you're fiddling with Asterix, howling with frustration at Cisco's
Call Manager Express, or have a PBX background and you despise your
current job (or don't have one) please drop me a note. We're tentatively
looking for a manager, perhaps someone very senior in the PBX support
arena, and then a number of tech support staff for this effort.

In order to limit the confusion 'manager' means someone with some
years experience leading groups of people in technical customer support,
preferably in roles where there was a P&L component to the job
responsibility. 'Senior PBX support person' can be left alone with a
hundred seat network spanning two major sites, half a dozen remotes, and
all of the telco stuff will be neat and complete at the end of the game.
Tech support staff are people who pick up the phone, use the knowledge
base and their skills to solve most problems, and then escalate to
senior support people when they can't fix it themselves.

The customers are all remote so the work environment will be jeans &
button down shirt casual. The customers are on both coasts so there is
likely to be a morning/evening split on support staff. Those currently
working on this are all telecommuters. Working at home part of the time
may be an option for new people after completion of a probationary period.

This is a startup. The flow of tech support work will come on the
heels of the design role we already fill for the customer. If this
sounds like something you'd be interested in please drop me a note ...

Neal
