i downloaded the VMPlayer to run on my experimental knoppix harddrive
install of Debian on PIII 1000MhZ with 256MB of RAM.  256MB did not
seem to be enough because it beat up my harddrive.  Then it caused a
kernel panic.  Uninstalling fixed everything.  Just a heads up.
