SuSe 9.2 is probably going to survive on my desktop since I've become
dependent on it but the sole dependency is vmware. I whacked the SuSe
9.2 install on my laptop and it feels like getting a car moving again
after being stuck in a snow drift. A SuSe box I had in the field fell to
the FreeBSD 5.4 install disks earlier this month. I have a few FBSD 4.11
boxes out there but they're about to get the 5.4 treatment as well.

I am, as you've noted before, not particularly patient in certain
matters. Changing directory to /usr/ports makes me feel like the guy in
the front of the twenty man scull yelling "stroke! stroke!". I've tried
to love SuSe for the last year, but when I open up YaST I feel like I am
bothering it ...
