I've been in contact with the LPI representative who will be coming to
town tomorrow for Infotec. He will be proctoring the LPI certification
exam, and joining us at the OLUG booth.

Here's the problem - so far, there are only 3 people signed up to take the
exam. I can attribute this to a number of factors, mostly poor advertising
and questions about the registration, but this kind of turnout doesn't
look good for the Linux community in Omaha. This is a significant discount
on these tests ($35 as opposed to $100). If you have been thinking about
taking the test but haven't signed up yet, please go here:
https://www.lpi.org/en/register.html to create an LPI id. Bring that ID
with you to Infotec tomorrow or Thursday and you'll be allowed to
register, pay, and take the test.

We'll also have a computer available outside the testing center to
register with lpi.org, so spread the word that the test is available, all
people have to do is show up, pay the fee and everything will be taken
care of.

Hope to see you all there.
