I don't know what how specialized your needs are, but I'm pretty impressed with how much ReZound can do ... crossfades, relatively sophisticated soundfile editing, CD burning. I've had very good luck dealing with .wav, .mp3, .ogg and especially .flac with it. It's not ProTools, but it's pretty good. Martin Willett
