One other thing I forgot to mention is that it could be that, that specific
mailserver of Aol's was having issues and wasn’t accepting incoming email.
Have you been getting this error from more than the mailin-03.mx.aol.com
mailserver???

This could be part of the issue http://postmaster.aol.com/spf/details.html
ecspecially if your mailserver sits inside the cox.net network. AOL likes
using the "Sender Policy Framework" standard.

Guys,

Over the past couple days, I have received a couple of the following e-mail
notes with my bounced e-mails to friends and family with @aol.com
addresses:

- ---
Final-Recipient: rfc822; <deleted>@aol.com
Action: failed
Status: 4.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; connect to mailin-03.mx.aol.com[64.12.137.152]:
    server refused mail service
- ----

Does anyone know where I can check to see if my mail servers is being black
listed by AOL and if so, why?

Dan
