The Slackware 9.1 box I have has a SiS chipset MB. 
THat box is down right now, while I'm fooling around
with another box.  I can give you more info,
specs-wise from /proc, once I get it back up and
running, if you so desire. 

It seems to run Slackware on it better than RH 7.3,
8.0, and 9 did.  With RH there was delay time when
running OO/Mozilla.  

Not experiencing that under Slackware.
