you want port 5901 externally to forward to 5901 internally

Your vncserver is running on desktop 1.  Ports are generally assigned as 
5900 + port number.  Desktop 0 = port 5900, desktop 1 = port 5901

The 5800 series ports are for a mini-web server that runs a vnc client java 
applet.  You don't need this if you are connecting via vncviewer but it is 
quite handy if you want to connect from any random machine's web browser 
(friend's house, coffee house, etc).  

Port 6001 is for the x-server itself.  You can ignore it for the purposes of 
using vnc

You should be able to connect using either of
vncviewer 68.43.116.20::5901
vncviewer 68.43.116.20:1

Finally, if you are trying to test this from behind the cable router that 
services 68.43.116.20 you may have problems as many routers do not properly 
let you connect out and then back in to yourself.  You might need to test 
this from someplace outside your network.
