[olug] Knoppix display question

Hi all,

Currently using Knoppix 3.3 (11-03-03 release) and I
was wondering how I go about changing the resolution? 
I've tried through the "Control Center" under KDE but
every time I click on "display" nothing happens.  I
know there's a file somewhere that this can be done
in, but which file and where?
