Meeting reminder - this Tuesday

The holidays are over, and OLUG has some big happenings in the next few
weeks. First, our monthly meeting is this Tuesday, 6 January 2003 with Tim
O'Brien discussing WiFi (wireless) insecurity.

Yes, I will be talking about WiFi deployment & security, and request that
you Linux WiFi guru's come on out to tell your stories, tips, & WiFi
tidbits with the attendees.

Of course, more meeting details, location, & directions can be found in
the FAQ on OLUG.org:

Install fest - January 17th

Have you been putting up the install fest posters & fliers? I have yet to
see any posters that someone else has put up, so the prize for the poster
contest may be unclaimed this time.

In a poster spree this past week, I found some places that previously had
posters I placed up now no longer had them. So, with our last push to post
you might want to double check the places you previously covered.

A big thanks goes out to the gang who is hosting the SuSe ISO's for those
that are burning them to bring to the Install fest. Great job jumping in
& taking care of it!
Of course, if anyone else is willing to burn some ISO's and bring them to
the Install fest please feel willing to do so!

We could also use some more volunteers to help at the actual Install fest.
No matter how much (or how little) experience with Linux you have - if
you can spare a few hours we would appreciate the assistance! If
interested, send me an email letting me know your experience level with
Linux & when you can help on the 17th.

With that, if I do not see you at the meeting Tuesday I hope to see you at
the Install fest!
