[olug] ksmserver NO WRITE ACCESS TO: /home/(name)

You can access the command line with:  Ctrl-Alt F1
You'll get a text based login prompt.
To go back to your desktop use:        Ctrl-Alt F7

*** If for some reason Ctrl-Alt F7 doesn't work, cycle through
Ctrl-Alt F2
Ctrl-Alt F3
etc...  til you get there.
