[olug] Suse 9.0 pro

no gui version that I know of...break it down and try
the base tools first. I am guessing there is a
compatibility issue with konqueror and samba client 3.
 I know that knoqueror in fedora behaves differently
than in redhat 9 in that it does not work with
names...only IPs.

You could also try Gnome's file browser, nautilus.
