I'm not sure if it would work or not but would it be possible to webcast
the meetings?

Advantages: I would be able to see the meetings and the archives could be
watched elsewhere.

Drawbacks: BW requirements for AIM who already does so much for OLUG.
Storage requirements for Archive.

I absolutely do not want to put more work on Adam to set this up. This
would need to be set up in advance by someone locally. Notice how this
would not be me. :) These are just suggestions. The drawbacks are big
and may not be worth it. Maybe just recording to a DivX or mpeg and
making it available somewhere after the meeting is over.

On the subject of taking load of some of the busiest people in OLUG. I
can't make it to many of the meetings, but I'm willing to give
presentations. I'm willing to give a go at a remote presentation from my
house or someplace on UN-L campus (good BW). Irish mentioned this at the
very nice after-installfest dinner.

The remote presentation could be in cooperation with HLUG. I'm not sure
of the BW requirements of 2-way streaming video and whether AIM can do it
or not. I'm sure it could all be done with open source though.
