[olug] ntp offset to central time zone from universal?

ok.. another time related question...

Now I tried ntpdate on another box, using these same servers, but it
resets my time to apparently Greenwhich Mean time... offset 25000 secs (6
hrs).  Does anyone know where on my system I set it to adjust for Central
time zone?
