I do computer support on the side and I am installing a SuSE linux server at the current location I am setting up imitating a Windows PDC. They required WinXP on the desktop but we will be using Openoffice.org and Mozilla on the desktops as well.
I work for a school district in the area and we have 1 Red Hat Linux server running multiple websites and being a DB server. I will be replacing that system soon with SuSE probably and adding 6 more Linux servers to do web caching at our middle schools. I am also investigating transitioning all desktops and Novell/Windows servers to Linux in the next 12 months.
There, you have my 2 bits... Hope that helps! 8)

OLUG,

I'm looking for Omaha-area businesses that use/support "Linux", either on
the server or desktop. How many are there out there, and who is looking
for "Linux" skills from up and coming college graduates lets say... (as
an incentive, we may get more GNU/Linux use at UNO)

Please everyone who has a company in mind, reply to this thread so I can
get a good list. All your help is appreciated!

Thanks
