Thanks for the info, unfortunately Im just north of Elkhorn on the West side
of Omaha, their service doesnt come this far west.  I have found MicroLnk
and WispAir, looks like they do free site survey's, so I will check with
them I guess.  I have heard WispAir is a little pricey, but MicroLnk is
reasonable. Just dont know the quality of the connection.

I have wireless Internet at home.
I have had a wireless ISP since August of 2002.
It is land based and not satellite wireless.
Works great with ssh, http, IM, pop, etc.
You can contact them and have them do a site survey and see if you have a
signal where you are.

There coverage starts from Omaha and goes into Iowa and South to Glenwood
and North to Missouri Valley and East to Carson, Oakland, Avoca, Treynor.
They cover parts of Council Bluffs also.
Not sure what coverage they have in Omaha even though they are based
downtown near the new Bank Tower.
