[olug] fetchmail

Did it display the entire message???  DId it end with a . (period) on the
last line??  If it does, then you got to the end of the message, I wonder
why fetchmail timedout.

The things you learn . . .

I was able to log on, and when I did RETR 1 I saw the contents of the
message.

(I'm doing this off the list . . . may take a while for me to figure it
out. :)
