[olug] Transparent caching

Ok, my turn on of the squid server failed again.  If I hard code the IP
and port into the workstation, the caching server works GREAT.  If I
turn on redirection at the router level, the packets get to the server
(seen through tcpdump) but are never shown to hit squid (looking at
access.log).  I can see the filter getting the packets, but not squid. 
I shutoff the firewall/filter on the Linux server to see if that was
stopping it but it still did not work...any ideas??
