While we are on the subject.......

We ( OLUG ) are looking for member's help on building ( supply parts
that is ) our next OLUG server, to support our web, mailing list, user
services etc...
We have, for years, relied on a sole member ( myself ) to supply such
hardware, and services. While I do have some piece/parts and TIME to
dedicate to this
project, I see the need to ask for help from other OLUG constituents in a
way that would be beneficial to all of OLUG. What we are looking for is
to build a solid server, not necessarily bleeding edge, but resilient enough
to not have to baby-sit every other day :-) We do have a colo pinned down
for the project that is willing to allow us park the server at their place,
for a very reasonable price. If you have any parts you would like to donate
( from a motherboard to memory ) please contact me off the list and let me
know what you have to donate. Now, I did say donate, however since OLUG is
not a real non-profit organization ( YET! ) there would not be any TAX
write-offs.

Thanks to everyone in advance, and hope to see you all at the next meeting,
which is on 10/1 @ the AIM institute
