[olug] Newbie Question - KDE Screensavers

Hi, all...

I have tried to research this on my own, but to no avail.

I am running Mandrake 9.0 with KDE3 being my environment of choice.  
Hopefully, someone on this list is familiar with Mandrake's quirks.

When I try to select a screen saver in KDE, there are no screen savers listed.  
It wasn't always this way.  I had kdeartwork installed and I added keuphoria.  
I was able to select and configure them.

I made several adjustments to my system a few days ago, and later that night, 
I decided to shut off my screensaver to watch a DVD.  That's when I noticed 
that the selection list was empty.

I had been messing with MenuDrake with root privileges and I also installed a 
bugfix regarding configuration scripts.  Both of these items seem suspect to 
me.

I've posted to linuxnewbie.org also, but no one has even suggested a fix yet.  
I have some support time from Mandrake, and all they suggested was installing 
kdeartwork.  See above... it's already on here.  I'm awaiting the next 
response from them, but I thought I would ask the local crowd also.
