Sure this is a plug . . . but if you were using Gentoo, you wouldn't 
have this problem

I installed Gentoo a few weeks ago, and am never looking back.  It's 
solid, it's stable, and it's much easier to install and upgrade than I 
ever thought a source-based distro would be (or even a binary-based).  
Per the rest of the conversation, Gentoo checked m5 when downloading a 
package for security-sake.  Also, unlike most distros, the packages are 
updated continuely . . .if you wanted, you could update your whole 
system every day.

I did wite a review that I post on www.olug.org, but it has never made
